GETTING TO THE ISLAND:

Stage Left is located on San Juan Island in the Pacific Northwest. To get to us you have to take a relaxing ferry journey from the port town of Anacortes. The journey takes approximately 90mins, but you also have to allow for getting in line with your car at the ferry terminal. During the summer months it is advisable to be in line a minimum of two hours before the scheduled departure of the ferry. Or, avoid the stress and leave your car behind. It's a small island and easy to get around.

For our 'Shakespeare Under the Stars' series during the summer months the theatre is outdoors (that means if it rains, you get wet). Bring warm, waterproof clothing.

And please, for everybody's sake leave pets at home, and electronic devices must be stowed in your car until the curtain falls. Thanks.

DIRECTIONS TO WOLD ROAD VENUE:

On leaving the ferry, follow the traffic up Spring Street. Continue on Spring Street and head out of town on San Juan Valley Road.

Stay on this road for 5 miles then take the left hand turn off to Wold Road. (Where San Juan Valley takes a sharp right hand turn and becomes Boyce Rd, Wold Rd is on the left).

Continue on Wold Road for about 1 mile, you will see on the right hand side: a house, a barn, a stage and numerous other people milling around about 200 yards off the road. It will be well signposted and someone will direct you to the correct place to park.

DIRECTIONS TO SAN JUAN COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS VENUE:

On leaving the ferry, follow the traffic up Spring Street.

Continue on Spring Street until you see Wells Fargo bank and the road forks. Take the left fork onto Argyle Avenue.

Drive approximately 1/3 mile until you arrive at the San Juan County Fairgrounds on your left. Follow directions for parking and to the show venue.
